Artist's Comments

Sorry, but I just had to let the original text in italian, just to make the whole situation sound more realistic.

Here's the whole translation:

Eva: Mh?
Adam: See Eva? That's a Flower (Fiore)!
Eva: Flo-wer? (Fio-re?)
Adam Capture: She wore dad's vest. It was Sunday, and it was my birthday...I don't know what happened that day, but nobody called me with my name...Adam...anymore. From that moment, to everybody, but mostly to HER, I remained forever...FIORE.

Hope I translated it right :)

I'll enter this pic to this month MGC [link] ! It's a long time I don't enter the contest ^_^ I missed it! I had many other ideas in mind for this topic, but than this pic came into my mind, and I couldn't rexist to draw it!
I've always shown Eva and Fiore as Assassins, fierce and pityless killers, but before their innocence were broken, they were different. I just decided to illustrate this particoular moment, the most important in Fiore's memories, the moment when Eva said her first word, and named him new.

Aww...how sweet! Looks kinda like that scene from Braveheart where Murron gives William a flower...very beautiful and full of life!

That is so awesome! I can actually understand some of the Italian without a translation-in concept, not neccesarily the exact words.

Fiore really looks like a little toddler child! The expression, the softness of his features-fantastic! The stance is so adolescent, tho. Adds to the character in my opinion. Eva looks like a younger toddler than Fiore, almsot more infantile than toddler-esque, but good nonetheless.

Excellent pic!

That is positively ADORABLE. And it's such a contrast to Eva and Fiore's adult selves, who usually seem so harsh and cold (not that I really MIND, of course... I'm just pointing it out. ^_^;; ) It's nice to see this contrasting side of them. ^__^

You're both right! Now I remember the scene you're talking about! Maybe it inspired me uncounsciously? :aww: It's a long time I don't see Braveheart!

Thank you for this very cured comment! :D Yes, they both should be very young children here, but Fiore's a little older than Eva.
Glad you understand some italian word without translation! :) Few people can around here ;)

I took an italian class last semester-so I understand a little bit, a very little bit, but enough to grasp the concept. you are welcome to the comment. I don't waste my time or the artists' time with the emoticon laden comments.
